Premier League high-flying side Tottenham Hotspur have joined the chase for in-demand Hamburg striker Jann-Fiete Arp.
Daily Mail reports that the talented 17-year-old has alarmed a great number of European clubs who are prepared to get in a transfer tussle this winter in efforts to land his services.
The youngster hit the limelight at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in India where he scored five goals for Germany, with his goalscoring run coming as great continuation of impressive form he displayed in the European Championship (7 goals).
Arp got on the scoresheet last weekend, helping his team to a 3-1 win over Stuttgart and once again turning the head of clubs such as Juventus, Chelsea and Arsenal who are all said to be extremely keen on the German talent.
Tottenham stepped in the race as well hoping to lure the fledging talent over to London.
Arp is contracted to Hamburg until 2019.
