German media outlet Bild understands that Hamburg SV youngster Melvin Krol will be leaving the club for greener pastures in the summer.
The 17 year old has yet to be handed a first team debut at Imtech Arena, but he is, nonetheless, regarded as one of club’s hottest prospects and predicted a bright future in the game.
Krol has been in scintillating form this season, having managed 14 goals and 8 assists in 21 league appearances for the Under-19 side.
However, with his contract at Hamburg due to expire at the end of the season, a summer exit appears on the cards.
European powerhouses Chelsea and Juventus are believed to be keeping close tabs, but Krol is reportedly not yet ready to leave Germany.
As a result, Werder Bremen appear to be leading the chase for his signature and could now get their hands on one of country’s most talented footballers.
