According to Voetbal International, German giants Hamburger SV have joined the race for the signature of quick winger Eljero Elia. The 22-year-old currently plays for Enschede outfit Twente.
Elia has been one of the absolute key men for Twente this campaign and his outstanding performances haven’t gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe. The left winger was already being liked with teams such as Manchester City, Arsenal, PSV, Ajax and Espanyol.
Hamburger SV have scouted the player on several occasions and are reportedly ready to table an €8.6 million offer for the former ADO Den Haag player.
