According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Napoli legend Marek Hamsik’s move to Chinese club Dalian Yifang is believed to be back on. The 31 year old’s departure was initially thought to have fallen through, but now, the Italian club are anticipating a £17.5 million bid from the Chinese side – and it could come as soon as tomorrow.
The Slovakian midfielder has made more appearances and scored more goals than anyone else for Napoli, and has remained committed to the club since back in 2007. Before that he played for Brescia, where he spent the previous three years of his career.
Fans have been somewhat critical of Marek’s potential move to China, but given the kind of finances involved in the move, it would appear as if the move is too tempting to pass up.
Napoli are set to return to action on Thursday in the Europa League against FC Zurich.
