Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic will be leaving Inter Milan at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old continued the rich vein of form in the 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona, saving a penalty from Luca Toni to keep a first clean sheet in quite a while.
Having already saved 21 penalties in Serie A and seven of last eight, Handanovic is rightly considered one of world’s best shot-stoppers in said department and he should have no shortage of offers at the end of the season.
With his agent failing to agree a contract extension for their client, the Slovenia star is widely expected to leave the club one year before his current deal is due to expire.
Handanovic has often been the only shining light at Giuseppe Meazza during the three years since arriving from Udinese, but it looks as though he has finally lost his patience and is ready to move on.
