According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan have begun planning for life without Samir Handanovic with the belief being that the 35 year old will either be moving on or retiring sooner rather than later. Two names that have been mentioned as potential replacements are Juan Musso and Pierluigi Gollini, both of whom Inter have shown interest in during past transfer windows.
Inter have been making big changes for a good few months now, and it doesn’t really seem as if that’s going to subside anytime soon. They appear to be intent in looking ahead to the future at any and all available opportunities, and they’re doing so again by planning for the departure of Handanovic.
While there could still be a few transfer windows to come before they go through with this, it’s interesting to note that there are these rumours popping up already with the season only having just gotten underway.
