Blackpool striker Marlon Harewood is set to be sidelined for up to six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in training ahead of the Premier League match against Bolton on Saturday.
Ian Holloway, the Blackpool manager, blamed himself for Harewood’s setback, saying Thursday: “I wanted it to be competitive at the end of training and it went on too long. It was my fault.
“I’m in the doghouse from the physio. How long is Marlon likely to be out for? Five or six weeks.”
Harewood has scored five goals this season with newly-promoted Blackpool currently 12th in the Premier League table.
