Portugal champions Benfica are looking to reinforce their attacking options in the January transfer window in order to further strengthen their Primeira Liga title bid.
The Eagles are currently sitting top of the table, four points clear of Porto but the race is far from being over and Rui Vitoria is keen to bolster his ranks for the new challenges.
According to Portugal media outfit Abola, Benfica are lining up a January move for the Eintracht Frankfurt striker Haris Seferovic.
The 24-year-old Swiss international is poised to sign a new deal with the German outfit, but Benfica are hoping to scrap the deal by offering Seferovic a chance to make a step forward in his career and join a Champions League club during the winter transfer market.
According to reports, Benfica are willing to pay €2 million to secure the signature of the player who made 12 Bundesliga appearances this season, five of which were starts.
Seferovic has two league goals to his name in 2016/17 season.
