Competition: National League
Market: Harrogate Town win
Odds: 9/5 @ Bet 365
Handed the chance to climb into the play-off positions, Harrogate will make the trip to Wrexham on Tuesday night.
Starting with the hosts, after putting in yet another worrying display in their 1-1 draw away at Woking over the weekend, Wrexham’s start to the season can best be described as below par. Despite being tipped as a pre-season favorite to be in the race to land a Football League return come May, the Welsh outfit have won just one of their last 11 National League outings, a run that stems back to the 13th of August. With former boss Dean Keates returning earlier in the week, only Wrexham’s goal difference currently sees them outside of the drop zone. With the mood in their camp the lowest it has been in recent memory, Tuesday could prove to be another long night for the hosts.
As for the visitors, while Wrexham might be struggling with their form, Harrogate find themselves in the midst of a real purple patch. Picking up a 2-0 win over Ebbsfleet last weekend, Head Coach Simon Weaver has now seen his men win each of their last three matches on the bounce, including a 1-0 win over league leaders Halifax on the road last month. Also enjoying an unbeaten run that stems all the way back to the start of September, the guests will know that another victory in midweek would see them break into the play-off positions.
