Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s opener for Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup against Manchester United at Old Trafford was cancelled out by Joshua Zirkzee, and the game went into stoppage time before Harry Maguire snatched a win for the Red Devils.
The United defender was offside, but as the linesman failed to raise his flag and there was no VAR at this stage of the competition, the goal was allowed to stand.

Speaking to the press after the game, Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, who used to play very successfully for United during the Sir Alex Ferguson era, expressed his displeasure by saying that his team was beaten in “offside time”, rather than “Fergie time”.
