Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has agreed a season-long loan deal with Birmingham.
The England Under-21 ace is desperate to get into Fabio Capello’s World Cup squad for South Africa and has been told by City boss Mark Hughes to leave the club in order to get first-team action next season.
Hart said: “The coach has said you need to be playing.That is what you want to be doing anyway, regardless of whether it gets you in the England side.”
Hart has struggled to get into the City team, following the arrival of Shay Given at Eastlands.
