Hart pens new City deal

Joe Hart has penned a new long term contract with Manchester City, according to Sky Sports.

The England international moved to the club from Shrewsbury Town in 2006, and has made two hundred and seventy-three appearances for them since breaking into the first team.

The 27 year old fully established himself as City’s number one following loan spells with Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool and finally Birmingham City, where he was named the club’s player of the year in 2010.

During his time at the Etihad Stadium, Hart has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup while at international level he has been capped forty-eight times for his country.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men beat bottom-of-the-table Leicester City last weekend to remain within three points of league leaders Chelsea.

They host Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League, and can be backed at 2/7 to take all three points.
