Has Pepe Reina played his last game for Liverpool?

Pepe Reina could have played his final game for Liverpool, after reports in Spain suggest that the goalkeeper has agreed to join former club Barcelona next summer, the Metro understands.

The 31 year old Spain international is currently on loan with Serie A side Napoli, where he has been reunited with former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, and will remain until the end of the season.

He was allowed to leave Anfield following Belgium international Simon Mignolet’s arrival from Sunderland, and had been originally linked with a move to the Nou Camp before Napoli registered their interest.

Reina has made 394 appearances in all competitions for the Reds since signing from Villarreal in 2005, and has won the FA Cup and League Cup during his time with the club, while he has made two appearances for Napoli this season, and kept a clean sheet in his debut against Bologna two weeks ago.
