Havertz makes promise to Chelsea?

According to a recent report from Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz has promised Chelsea that he will be targeting a move to Stamford Bridge ahead of any other European clubs.

This appears to be the main transfer that the Blues are focusing their attention on as we edge closer and closer to the opening of the summer transfer window. Whether or not they should instead be going after defensive reinforcements is a question that many Chelsea fans will continue to ponder, but for now, the prospect of bringing in someone of his quality could be too much for them to turn down.

As we know, one of the priorities for Havertz looks set to be Champions League football – and with Leverkusen not achieving that goal, it could all come down to whether or not Chelsea can, in fact, crack the top four as the Premier League season comes to a close.
