Havertz not heading to Liverpool?

According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Liverpool could miss out on the signing of Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.

The Reds have been chasing Havertz for quite some time now, with the belief being that Jurgen Klopp wanted to make him one of their priority signings during the summer transfer window. Now, it appears as if that’ll no longer be the case, with the popular opinion being that he would rather make the jump across Germany to join Bayern Munich.

Havertz continues to be viewed as a hot property within the realms of European football, but perhaps Liverpool’s recent slip in form has caused him to re-consider his options.

Either way Klopp will have to go back to the drawing board, because while he does have a strong squad, you never know what could change as we get closer and closer to the transfer window opening and the season ending.
