Havertz to stay at Bayer Leverkusen

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Kai Havertz is tipped to remain at Bayer Leverkusen for at least the remainder of the current season – despite the fact that he’s been receiving a great deal of interest from around Europe in recent weeks. 

The biggest volume of interest stems from the Premier League in England with Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool all making it known that they want to make a deal happen. Alas, while he may be tempted in the future, the youngster is choosing to instead focus on what he’s doing right now with Leverkusen. 

This will come as music to the ears of most neutral fans who want to see him develop as a talent before he takes the plunge and makes an even bigger leap up the ladder of success. Of course, if someone like Barcelona or Real Madrid comes in for him, which has been reported, it could be an entirely different story.
