Hazard agrees to sign for Real Madrid

According to Mundo Deportivo, AS and several other Spanish sources citing Onda Madrid, Eden Hazard has agreed to a deal that will see him sign for European champions Real Madrid. There’s been a great deal of speculation over the Belgian’s future in the game for what feels like forever, with some suggesting that he’d remain at Stamford Bridge and others believing that he’ll go elsewhere. Now, though, it appears as if we’re a step closer to getting some kind of clarity – at least, so we think.

The deal will reportedly go through next season, although at this stage there are conflicting reports regarding the validity of the details. It’s no secret that Hazard has spent an awful lot of time keeping people guessing when it comes to his future in the game, and it appears as if this is no different. Eden’s current contract with the Blues is set to run out in 2020.
