According to AS, Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard could be Real Madrid’s ‘plan C’ this summer if the Spanish giants are unable to land their main targets in the transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar is considered to be their primary focus as they attempt to land a big name prior to the start of the season, with Kylian Mbappe being right behind the Brazilian as their second favourite. Beyond that, of course, Belgium’s own Eden Hazard is being viewed as someone who could also fill the void that is expected to be left by Cristiano Ronaldo’s impending switch to Juventus.
Hazard, 27, has been seen as one of Europe’s finest players for a few years now, although the constant rumours of him departing Stamford Bridge have never quite come to fruition – yet. He’s been doing his price tag no harm in the last few weeks at the World Cup in Russia, where he’s helped Belgium to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
