Eden Hazard would love Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe to join him at Real Madrid.
The French forward admitted prior to the opening of the 2019 summer transfer window that he would be open to a ‘new project’, and from that point on his future was the focal point if much speculation until the Ligue 1 champions confirmed that he would be staying for the 2019/20 season. The reports, now talking about the next summer, still come out on a regular basis, and apart from Real, Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool have all been credited with interest.
Mbappe is set to visit the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid this week as his team take on Real in the fifth round of the Champions League Group A, and speaking to Le Parisien, Hazard expressed his belief that the 21-year-old World Cup winner would become one of the greatest football players ‘in the history of the world’ one day.
“A footballer constantly dreams of playing alongside the best. If tomorrow I could bring Kylian to Real Madrid, I would try. But not only is it not just me who can decide this, on top of that I don’t even think I would be asked for my opinion”, the Belgian said.
