The Telegraph reports that Belgian superstar Eden Hazard could soon put pen to paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Even though the forward has another three years left on his current contract, the Blues want to ensure he does not think about leaving by offering him a serious pay rise.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have offered Hazard a new deal worth staggering £300,000 per week.
The 26-year-old is reportedly happy to remain at Stamford Bridge in spite of heavy interest from Real Madrid and the Blues hope he will soon accept the new contract offer.
Hazard has proved to be one of Chelsea’s best ever signings, having managed 72 goals and 65 assists in 255 competitive outings since joining in a €35 million deal from Lille.
