Hazard wants to join Borussia Dortmund

According to a report from Kicker, Thorgan Hazard has told Borussia Dortmund that he wants join the German side at the end of the season. Hazard has spent the last few years getting himself out of Eden’s shadow, and now, he’s considered to be a fantastic talent in his own right. Dortmund are currently re-considering their own options following a disappointing result against Bayern Munich, which has left their Bundesliga hopes in tatters. Hazard is someone that has been on their radar for quite some time now, with Dortmund reportedly being willing to pay up to £35 million in order to lure him away from Borussia Monchengladbach. His deal is currently set to expire in 2020, at which point he would be a free agent, but Gladbach are said to be eager to keep him on the books if it’s at all possible.

Whatever happens, it should be an interesting summer transfer window for all parties involved.
