Chelsea’s Eden Hazard said he’d be happy to remain at Stamford Bridge, but he expects the club to make some quality signings this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Hazard, who is set to be the star of the formidable Belgian national team in the World Cup this summer, has often been linked with a move to Real Madrid. The Champions League finalists are said to be aiming to offload Gareth Bale and the Chelsea attacker is seen as a suitable replacement, even an upgrade.
But Hazard has offered some hope to the Chelsea fans with his latest statement. The player who has won the Premier League twice undoubtedly aims for more trophies and he’s willing to fight for them in the blue shirt. But he also seeks assurances of the club’s ambitions being made visible in the upcoming transfer window, as he admits more quality is needed to be able to compete properly at the highest level. He also admits the club need to win the FA Cup final against Manchester United on Saturday to save the season since they failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
