‘Hazard would bring a lot to us, Jovic is a great striker’

Real Madrid are having a big summer spree! Luka Jovic was officially signed on Tuesday in a deal worth 60 million euros plus potential bonuses and Ferland Mendy was rumoured to be on a medical before signing for the 13-time European champions. Eden Hazard is rumoured to be on his way to Madrid while several other players have been mentioned in that conversation too, such as Paul Pogba.

Dani Carvajal spoke about the potential signing of Eden Hazard, which has been a rumour for months now, and which was made even a bigger deal when the Belgian confirmed his time at Chelsea could be finished.

“Hazard would add a lot to our attack,” the right-back told El Larguero on Tuesday. “He is a player who wants the ball and does not hide.”

Carvajal also had a few words about Jovic, as Serbia international was confirmed as the new signing.

“Jovic is a great [number] nine,” he said. “I hope he is decisive.”
