Hazard’s Real Madrid situation uncertain

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Eden Hazard’s situation at Real Madrid is becoming a “problem”.

The Belgian hasn’t been able to catch fire in the way he would’ve liked since arriving at the Bernabeu due to inconsistent form and a string of injuries. While it isn’t thought that he’s close to leaving just yet, there is some restlessness within the camp about where he goes from here – with some rumblings suggesting that a return to former club Chelsea could well be on the cards.

It would mark a return to the Premier League for a man who, throughout the course of his career, was easily able to shine the most in English football. If given the opportunity to do so again there’s no guarantee he would even be a consistent starter for the Blues, but he’d be heading into a team that is gearing up for a legitimate run at the title this season.
