Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has revealed Northern Ireland striker David Healy is set to have a medical at Sunderland on Thursday ahead of his proposed move to the Stadium of Light.
Hodgson has agreed to sell Healy to Roy Keane’s side after the former Manchester United trainee failed to make an impact at Craven Cottage last season following his 1.5 million pounds (1.8 million euros) move from Leeds.
“If David has been spotted at Sunderland he didn’t wear that disguise I told him to!” Hodgson said.
“It’s no secret that Sunderland admire David and have talked about a transfer. He’s up there for a medical.
“We’ll see what happens now but it’s certainly a possibility the transfer could go through.”
