French veteran Lilian Thuram will not be completing his move to Paris Saint-German after failing the required medical exam.

The 36 year old revealed today that doctors discovered heart problems that might force the player to make an end to his career.

“Abnormalities were discovered, which could be dangerous when practicing professional sports,” said the FC Barcelona defender.

“Most probably, I have the same problem as by brother who also had heart troubles. That turned to be fatal on a basketball court.

Whether the move to PSG is completely impossible is unknown. The player and the club’s medical staff will further discuss the results on July 30th to come to a decision.
