Scottish Premier League leaders Hearts have officially signed Clevid Dikamona, as they attempt to bolster their defensive ranks ahead of a title push this season. The club have been the surprise package of the season over in Scotland thus far, pushing Celtic to the point where they lead the race for the championship.
Hearts have been attempting to make that next jump up into the title discussion for a few years now, in the wake of Rangers’ absence from the top division. Now, it seems like they’re in a better position than they have been in quite some time to make that a reality.
The incoming Dikamona, 28, has bounced around a series of clubs throughout the course of his career, but this could be the most important move of all for the Congo international. Hearts’ next game will come against Motherwell as they try to keep their momentum going at the top.
