FC Porto midfielder Hector Herrera could still be moving to Stadio San Paolo this summer, according to A Bola.
The Mexico hotshot long ago emerged as a top target for the Serie A giants, but they have been unable to reach an agreement with the Dragons.
Herrera has now resumed pre-season training at Estadio do Dragao, but that does not mean a summer exit can be ruled out.
FC Porto are still holding out for €30 million, with Napoli trying to persuade them to lower the asking price.
Mexican club Pachuca will be in for a major windfall as well if the two clubs reach an agreement seeing as how they are entitled to 30% of the transfer fee.
Hector Herrera has been a key player for both club and country over the last few years, and he has managed a total of 19 goals and as many assists in 115 appearances for FC Porto.
