AS Roma are among the clubs keeping close tabs on San Lorenzo midfielder Hector Villalba, reports Portuguese daily A Bola.
The 19-year-old has largely impressed this season, helping his side win the Apertura title, and he is widely regarded as one of the most talented footballers in Argentina.
Villalba has been showing a great deal of potential over the last year or so, with some of Europe’s top clubs taking notice.
According to A Bola, Dnipro were the first side to show interest in the youngster as they are bracing themselves for life without key player Yevhen Konoplyanka.
Meanwhile, AS Roma, who closely monitor the South American market, are also believed to be keen, with sporting director Walter Sabatini already well acquainted with Villalba.
And with San Lorenzo coach Juan Antonio Pizzi taking over the reigns at Valencia, it is thought that he could try and get reunited with the talented footballer at Mestalla.
