Everton defender Johnny Heitinga has confirmed reports linking him with a move away from Goodison Park.
The Netherlands international is widely tipped to leave the Toffees in search of first team football and he has been linked with a move to Fiorentina.
According to Voetbal International, Napoli and West Ham are also keen on his services, with the player himself confirming he is set to leave the Toffees.
“It’s all about finding a club where I would have the best chance of getting regular playing time,” Heitinga explained to Voetbal International. “And at the best possible level.
“I’m only thirty years old and want to play abroad for another few years. So, Netherlands is not an option for me.”
Heitinga arrived at Everton from Atletico Madrid back in 2009, and has since featured in 114 Premier League games, scoring 2 goals in the process.
However, he failed to establish himself as a first team regular at Goodison Park and hasn’t made a single league appearance this season.
Meanwhile, Everton continue to impress in the Premier League, having climbed to fifth place in the standings, and are now priced at 13/8 for a top 6 finish.
