(GSM) – Alexander Hleb is keen to speak with new Barcelona president Sandro Rosell regarding his future at the club, according to one of the player’s agents.

The former Arsenal midfielder, who spent last season on loan at VfB Stuttgart, has still two years remaining on his deal at Camp Nou and is prepared to return for pre-season training.

However, the 29-year-old is keen to know whether his services are still required at the Catalan outfit.

“What we want now is to speak to the new president,” Nikolai Spilevski, one of the player’s agents, told Sport.

“Hleb has two years left on his contract and he wants to fight for a place in the team, but if they don’t want him then we will start to look for another club.

“There is interest from several clubs, but we won’t do anything until we have spoken to the president.”
