Henry: England are a top class side

Barcelona forward Thierry Henry has revealed that he believes England have the potential to be one of the best international teams in the world. The legendary French international insists the Three Lions have a plethora of top class players to choose from who have plenty of experience of playing at the highest level.

“I’ve always said you guys [England] have one of the best teams in the world,” Henry told British tabloid The Sun. “Just look at John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.

“They do it day-in, day-out in the league, in the Champions League, whenever they play. You have the players and you have a good team.
