Talk Sport is today reporting that Arsene Wenger could sign Thierry Henry for the third time of his career in the January transfer window.
Henry has been training with the Gunners over recently as the MLS season has now finished and he did join the London club on loan last year.
It now seems as though Wenger is not ruling out another move for the Frenchman as Ivory Coast striker Gervinho will miss January’s action due to the African Cup of Nations taking place.
The 35-year-old made a big impact when he joined last campaign and scored three goals in four appearances, including winners against Leeds United in the FA Cup and Sunderland in the English Premier League.
It is a move that would certainly go down well with the supporters and the Frenchman is a legend at the club and was part of the invincible side that went the whole season in the top flight without defeat.
Wenger believes that Henry is extremely sharp and looks fit to compete with the demanding physical side of the Premier League once more.
If it is something the forward wants to do, then a move back to North London certainly looks on the cards.
