According to Sky Sports, legendary French striker Thierry Henry is set to turn down the vacant managerial position at Bordeaux. The French club were said to be very interested in bringing Henry on as their new boss, despite the fact that he has no real experience as a manager. Henry, 41, was given the weekend to think things over and decide whether or not he’d actually end up making the jump.
Now, however, it seems as if he’s going to decide against it. This wasn’t the only position of this kind that Henry has been offered in the last few months, either, with reports suggesting that he was given the opportunity to potentially replace Steve Bruce at Aston Villa. Now that he’s set to turn down this position too, the question remains as to whether or not he feels like he’s ready for the move up into management at this point in time.
