According to Sky Sports, Thierry Henry could once again be in the running for the Aston Villa job. The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Villa Park earlier this year with some even suggesting that he was offered the job, only for it to be revealed that wasn’t the case. The Belgium coach is coming off the back of a great World Cup with the Red Devils, but now, it’s seeming more and more likely that he’s going to take on a managerial position of his own.
Some fans may not be too interested in bringing Henry on board given his relative lack of experience, although you could argue that his time as an assistant manager has made him slightly more qualified. Thierry would be joining several other big former stars from his generation that have moved into management, with Steven Gerrard, Patrick Vieira and Frank Lampard being some notable examples.
