Hernandez linked with Besiktas switch

ESPN understands that Besiktas are interested in signing West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez in January.

The Turkish outfit are looking to strengthen their forward line once the transfer window reopens, and could move for the Mexico international, who has failed to produce his best form since signing for the Hammers in the summer of 2017.

During his last spell in the Premier League, Hernandez scored fifty-nine goals in one hundred and fifty-seven outings for Manchester United before moving to Bayer Leverkusen via a loan stint at Real Madrid.

However, he has managed just ten goals thus far for West Ham, with his one and only league effort this term coming in a 4-2 win over Burnley earlier this month.

Next up for Manuel Pellegrini’s men is the visit of league leaders and champions Manchester City and the home win can be backed at the generous price of 12/1.
