Hernandez to be staying at Palermo

Palermo starlet Abel Hernandez will not be leaving the Serie A side this summer, according to his agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito.

Reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport have suggested that Arsenal are keen on signing the 19-year-old striker this summer.

“There have been advances from a number of clubs, but I know that Palermo have rejected them,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“The president [Maurizio Zamparini] has said he is not for sale, as has the sporting director [Walter Sabatini]. He will certainly be staying with Palermo to develop.”
