Juventus midfielder Hernanes is on his way to become the latest in line of high-profile footballers to move to the emerging Chinese Super League.
Bianconeri general manager Beppe Marotta has confirmed that the Brazilian international is in advanced talks over a move to Hebei Fortune with a deal expected to be completed this week, La Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed.
The 31-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Chinese club in a deal reportedly worth €11 million.
Hernanes has fallen down the pecking order at the Serie A champions and was expected to leave the Old lady during the summer window, but his proposed move to Besiktas broke down as the player himself decided to stay and fight for his place.
Having grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of options, Hernanes is jumping the bandwagon to join the emerging Chinese football world.
Juventus midfielder will be joined by familiar faces in Hebei Fortune as former Serie A players Gervinho and Ezequiel Lavezzi will make sure he feels like home far east.
