According to a recent report from Marca, Ander Herrera is set to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain at some point this week. Herrera has been searching for a new challenge for quite some time now, having been unable to find the kind of consistency he desired with Manchester United. Paris Saint-Germain are currently attempting to bolster their squad in preparation for what they anticipate to be a bit of an exodus over the course of the next few weeks, and Herrera seems like the perfect player for them to bring on board.
Herrera is widely considered to be one of the most underrated midfielders in world football today, and while some United fans may disagree with that assessment, even they have to admit that he wasn’t treated particularly well during his last few months with the club.
One way or another, it looks like he’s going to get a new beginning by the time next season rolls around.
