Reports are coming from Sky Sports today claiming that Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have agreed to sing RB Leipzig forward Davie Selke.
The 22-year-old striker endured a difficult season in Bundesliga with his team. The Germany international’s influence in RB Leipzig first-ever season in top flight has been limited to 19 appearances, only two of which were starts.
Selke still managed to display glimpses of his glowing potential and quality by scoring four goals and providing one assist.
A player who was plucked from Werder Bremen back in 2015 did not get the right chance to prove his worth with Champions League participants next season, but will instead try to make a name for himself at Hertha Berlin.
Sky Sports claim Selke has agreed to a five-year deal with Hertha adding that two sides are close to agreeing a transfer fee for the forward.
Selke has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League with Swansea City, West Ham and Everton all reportedly interested.
