Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has made it clear that he would be delighted to join PSV Eindhoven this summer.
It was at Philips Stadium that the Brazilian made a name for himself, enjoying four very successful seasons before he was sold to Tottenham.
Gomes continued with good performances at White Hart Lane, making a total of 95 Premier League appearances, but his career has since started taking the wrong turn.
After failing to feature in a single league game for the Spurs over the last two years, the 32-year-old is ready to leave the club and he is hoping to return to PSV Eindhoven.
“If PSV want me then it’s easy to say yes,” the Brazilian explained to NUsport. “My situation at Tottenham is not good. I am, therefore, looking for a new club.”
The Dutch giants are indeed searching for a new number one after Boy Waterman left the club to join Karabukspor.
There is every chance that they will make a move on their former shot-stopper, especially as Tottenham could agree to release the player from his contract.
