According to a recent report from Daily Record, Hearts defender Aaron Hickey looks set to complete a remarkable move to German champions Bayern Munich this summer.
The 18-year-old defender is in the last year of his contract, and after proving himself to be one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe, it now seems as if he’s ready to take the next step up in his career.
He is poised to sign a five-year contract with Bayern who, based on their last few performances, are well on their way to becoming the Champions of Europe once again.
A string of other clubs are believed to be interested in signing Hickey, including his former team Celtic, but it doesn’t seem like they’ll be able to hold a candle to the offer that Bayern are prepared to make.
Now, it’s just a case of waiting to see how long it takes for the move to become official.
