Experienced coach Guus Hiddink has welcomed interest from Anzhi as he looks to return to coaching after the unsuccessful spell as Turkey boss.
The Dutchman was sacked from the post after Turkey lost the Euro 2012 play-offs to Croatia.
Hiddink is now looking for a new coaching job and he has recently been linked with Russian side Anzhi.
“I’ll take my time,” Hiddink was quoted as saying in Russia Today. “I’ve heard through my contacts in Russia about Anzhi.”
The experienced tactician admits he is tempted by the reported interest from the Russian Premier League outfit.
“It’s a prestigious project that appeals to me because it’s more than just football.
”It’s good for the region where people live in poverty. If by football they can do other things, it’s a very nice project.
