Gonzalo Higuain scored four goals as Real Madrid won 4-3 over Malaga on Saturday.
The Argentine forward, who has been an important player for Real Madrid recently due to the injury on Ruud van Nistelrooy, was delighted with his performance.
Higuain said: “It is the first time that I have scored four goals in my life, and I was lucky enough to do it at the Bernabeu.
“I enjoyed it to the maximum, and I value it highly because we worked hard as a team to win an important game. Everyone will sign the ball and present it to me. It is a memory that I will never forget.
“At times like these I try not to get carried away and just listen to the advice of people around me. Things are going well and I need to be calm. As for the penalties, I have to practice to improve them, but all’s well that ends well when the ball ends up in the goal.”
He added: “I don’t see how we could have played badly, having won 4-3 despite being a man down. That is not easy to do and we should value the effort.”
