Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has dropped a fresh hint that he is ready to leave Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign.
The Argentine striker has been unable to reach an agreement with club chiefs over a new deal, which led to rumours linking him with a move away from the club.
As the speculations continue to mount, Higuain has issued a sort of come-and-get-me plea to interested sides.
“I am available to the club but I will not say any more. This is not the time,” the 25-year-old told reporters after scoring in weekend’s 5-1 win over Levante.
“I can only say that I’m committed to the club and will help the team until the end of the season.”
According to Metro, Tottenham and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the developments with a view of luring the highly rated forward to North London.
Since arriving at Santiago Bernabeu in a €12 million deal from River Plate, Higuain has scored 103 goals in 173 La Liga matches.
He has, however, struggled to regular action since Karim Benzema joined the club, and only started 16 league games this term.
