Higuain wants Messi at Inter Miami

According to a recent report from AS, Gonzalo Higuain has said Inter Miami would welcome Lionel Messi with “open arms” if he wanted to join them.

Higuain knows a thing or two about his fellow Argentine with the two sharing some memorable experiences together for the national team. At the same time, it almost feels too good to be true to think that Messi would make his way over to Major League Soccer.

The marketing potential alone would be absolutely insane and with North America hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, it’d do wonders for the build-up to the big tournament.

Higuain seems to be pretty happy with his current situation over in the United States and if Messi can still produce the goods in Europe, there’s absolutely no limit to what he could do over there.

It’s an odd suggestion, but don’t think for a second they wouldn’t fork out the big bucks to get him.
