Pachuca hotshot Hirving Lozano has moved to suggest that he dreams about playing for English giants Manchester United.
The Mexican side recently suggested their star player was set to move to Europe, stating a preference for Spanish club Celta Vigo.
However, while the Sky Blues have yet to decide whether to make a move on the 21-year-old, the player himself may have other ideas.
Namely, Lozano hopes to join Manchester United, although the Red Devils have so far failed to register the interest in his services.
“I believe many leagues are beautiful. I like the English and the Spanish very much,” Lozano told Univision.
“But let’s see how things are and decide. The one I would like most is Manchester. I like this club a lot and it’s a very important club.”
Hirving Lozano is widely regarded as one of Mexico’s hottest prospects, and he has been in excellent form this season, producing 18 goals and 6 assists in 27 competitive appearances.
The highly rated footballer is expected to be an important part of the El Tri side at the 2017 Confederations Cup.
