Barcelona ace Alexander Hleb is confident of having an successful future with the Spanish giants this season.
He said: “I feel wanted by the coach, and I want to repay him for the confidence he has given me since the first day. I know what he wants from me, and I know that I can give it. I know that I will not let either the manager or the team down.”
Hleb joined Barcelona from Arsenal, but struggled at the start in Spain.
He continued: “I needed some time to get acclimatized to my team-mates style of play. In training our understanding is flowing, and soon it will be at 100% in matches as well.”
He added: “I believe that I can contribute significantly to Barcelona’s success from January onwards. I am more familiar with the squad, and I predict a great 2009 for all concerned.”
