Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed he has held talks with Fulham regarding a move for defender Paul Konchesky.
Konchesky was a key player at Craven Cottage during Hodgson’s time in charge at the club.
Hodgson has confirmed his interest in Konchesky, but admits it is unsure if he will be able to sign the 29-year-old before the transfer window closes.
“We had discussions with Fulham about whether they were prepared to sell any of their players and I would be lying if I said Paul was not a name we considered,” said Hodgson.
“Whether or not there is a chance of business is still very much up in the air.”
