Hodgson eyes Wilshere reunion

New Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is considering a January move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to the Mail Online.

The former England boss was appointed as Frank De Boer’s successor at Selhurst Park earlier this week and he is already considering how best to strengthen his squad.

Wilshere was a key man for Hodgson during his time in charge of the Three Lions and was part of the squads that played under the seventy year old at both the World Cup finals in Brazil and the European Championships in France two years later.

The twenty-five year old spent the majority of last season at Bournemouth having fallen out of favour under Arsene Wenger and with him yet to feature for the Gunners this season another move away could be on the cards.

West Ham United, Aston Villa and Sampdoria were amongst the clubs linked with him during the summer though he remained in North London.
